• How did you meet your spouse or significant other?

  I met my fiance at church.

  He came home from college for a break but I didn't pay any REAL attention to him.

  He came back during the summer the next year and he was there the night I got rid of all my wicca/pagan stuff in a nice little bonfire at the beach. (Remind me to tell that story some time)

  He moved back home and started volunteering at the church. I was UTTERLY ANNOYED by him most of the time. 

  God made me his assistant on the highschool ministry worship team...HA!  And this is where our friendship REALLY began--

  Two of our best friends got married and we both spent a lot of time with them...He became my best friend

  God started speaking to my heart about him. I found myself missing him one April evening last year while in Odessa, Texas for a funeral. I argued with God about what I was feeling and after a couple of weeks said, "Okay, if this is what You want Lord, but I'm not doing ANY of the work!"

  Within a month and a half--I was in a courtship with my best friend and one of the most amazing men I've ever known.

  We're engaged to be married on October 10, 2008
