What would you change about the way your parents raised you?
I had my parents around (together) for the first five years of my life. They didn't do much "raising". I kind of raised myself because when my parents started having marital problems, my dad moved out and my mom took on two jobs.
So, although I would love to say my first response about changing it all would be that my parents would have stayed together and REALLY raised me...I'm okay that they didn't. I'm content with who I am today, who God continues to mold me into. It was through many trials and heartaches that I am who I am. (Still lots of work for God to do mind you)
My grandmother actually raised me. She is the one who taught me: how to cook, clean, sew, iron, social skills, morals, you name it...it was grandma. She went to be with Jesus in 1995 but all that she taught me is still with me. After that, I did a poor job of running my own life. Then I let God get a hold of me. HE did the rest.

I'm living, breathing, walking proof of a "CHANGED" life because of Jesus.

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
